Structural design

Brief facts:
Pre-school built in the central area of Sundbyberg. The building is about 2500 m2. It has been designed as a energy efficient building. The calculated energy consumption is approximately 45 kWh/ m2 per year. The structural design contains bearing prefab walls and HDf floor plate. All structural elements (base plate, exterior walls and roof) has a large mass of isolation to be able to go as low as to 0,11 for the U-value. In general, all building parts, that lies beyond the façade finish (access corridor, entrance canopy, stoller storage) has gotten a separate structural design to avoid thermal bridges to the main structure.
